CLOSURE OF SERVICES

After 23 years of dedicated service to the senior communities of Amador, Calaveras and Tuolumne, the Board of Directors for Common Ground Senior Services has made the decision to discontinue its operations and start formal dissolution proceedings.  This decision has not been made lightly, and it comes with a heavy heart, as the organization and staff bids farewell to those we have served over the years.

We have been honored and privileged to be of service in the tri-county area and to our valuable seniors for the past 23 years.  The decision to discontinue these programs has been a difficult one, and we are grateful for the support and partnerships that have sustained us throughout this journey.

We also want to express our sincere appreciation to our community partners, including the Jackson Rancheria Band of Miwuk Indians, Jackson Rancheria, American Legion Post 108, Amador and Calaveras County Board of Supervisors, Calaveras, Sonora, and Amador Community Foundations, and the entire community for their unwavering support over the years.

Common Ground’s Calaveras County Meals on Wheels program and the Silver Streak Transport Program will be discontinued effective June 30, 2024.
